I do not have access to my old wallet from 2018. All I have now is my 8 word phrase. How can I recover my XVG?

I got transfer my coins from Electrum wallet (2018) into the new Verge QT (Septem) wallet.

Thanks guys for saving my coins and helping me to extract my verge from this fullbug electrum wallet.

Open the Qt Wallet and click on the “Help” menu.
Click on “Debug Window” to open the console window.
In the console window, type the following command to unlock your wallet:

“walletpassphrase yourpassphrase 1800”

Replace yourpassphrase with your actual wallet passphrase and 1800
Press “Enter” to execute the command. The wallet will unlock and store the decryption key in memory for 30 minutes.

Next, type the following command to import your private key:

“importprivkey 000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000”
Replace 000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 with your privet key

I found I had to set the time before I could import my key.

Use Verge block explorer to find out which address has coins. Only import the private key of that particular address.

The problem is I can’t see what is in each address. Will I have to import all of them starting from the top since I don’t know what, if anything, is in each address?

I imported the private keys of the addresses that store my XVGs in the Electrum wallet, then I import the private keys (I did everything as described in this manual) in the latest version of the Verge Leviosa wallet 6.0.3 (synchronization with the network is successful) but nothing happens, I don’t see my XVGs on my balance.

Did I do something wrong?

If you are getting an error about your wallet passphrase that means your wallet is probably still encrypted. Follow the instructions closely.

Make sure you complete steps 6 & 7 specifically in the Verge UI before importing your electrum private keys:
Step 6: Now open your verge core wallet. If you’ve encrypted the wallet then you’ll need to unlock it first.
Step 7: To unlock go to settings >> unlock wallet or you can use the debug console window.

Thanks for this method Coinguides!
