Litecoin core is now running. I no longer have a record of my transactions and lost my Litecoin. The backup files I made do not work as they were made during the time I couldn’t sync. I can’t find my two USB drives that had my backup info. I deleted the file with my transaction and wallet info by mistake. I have some pw and other info. I have a string of words and a password. I think I lost 1.5 LTC. When you mention this Mac: Run terminal application, go to your wallet folder and drag the wallet file to the terminal. Then type -rescan or -reindex and hit enter. What wallet file are you talking about? I’m getting the feeling these coins are lost. I had the usb drives in my safe so I’m confused. Lesson learned. I did learn a lot. The articles were a big help.

I looked on my hard disk and don’t see any files to delete. Mac OS 12.6. I know my Mac pretty well so I should be able to find files if they exist. Thanks

Hi, James. You don’t have to add nodes. Just delete everything (Make sure you have your wallet.dat backup file) and download the latest Litecoin core client from the official website. Then try syncing from scratch and let us know if it is still stuck.
